The information on this site is a joint effort between SCE&G and governmental agencies, and is intended to help you know what to do if there is an emergency at the V.C. Summer Nuclear Station. If you live in proximity to the plant and there is a serious accident, it may be necessary to take the protective actions outlined on this site.

It is unlikely that an emergency at V.C. Summer Nuclear Station will make it necessary for you to leave your home. But family discussions and preplanning could help you through any emergency.
