What is JavaScript and why do I need it?

JavaScript is widely used by websites to enhance the user’s web experience with interactive and dynamic content.

Since we use JavaScript, you will not be able to do any of the following until you have enabled your JavaScript:

Access your Online Account
Forgot Username or Password
Start, Stop or Transfer Service
Report a Power Outage

See below for Instructions to enable JavaScript:

Internet Explorer:

On the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
On the Security tab, select Internet.
Select Custom Level.
Scroll down to Active Scripting.
Select Enable and select OK.
Select Yes to the change and select Ok.

FireFox:

On the Tools menu, select Options.
On the Content tab, select the Enable JavaScript check box.
Select OK.

Safari:

From the Safari menu, select Preferences.
From the Security tab, select the Enable JavaScript check box for Web Content.
Select Close.

For other browsers, you can find information about enabling JavaScript in your browser's Help section and from Microsoft Online Support.
