Homework Centers provide safe, structured, after-school environments where certified teachers can help elementary school students develop good study habits while completing their homework assignments. They operate at a consistent time and place to provide a routine homework schedule. Distractions are eliminated. Individualized help is offered. Homework supplies and resources are readily available.
The Centers have proven highly successful with teachers reporting improved grades among the students who attend. Feedback from teachers, as well as from parents, indicate the students also exhibit enhanced self-esteem and confidence.
