SCE&G - Junior Achievement
Junior Achievement
The Junior Achievement program works directly with businesses and educators to provide young people with a real-life vision of business and the world around them.

As students partner with mentor volunteers, they are given a real-life glimpse into the way business is done. Visits to local business offices, day-on-the-job opportunities, and presentations by civic and business leaders instill excitement as children participate in fun, business oriented activities and contests like the JA Titan Contest. Transporting students into the future, this contest allows students to compete online as they battle to develop the many aspects included in forming and getting a successful business off the ground. Experienced in years past, the contest is both fun and educational, and has become just one of the successful examples of the kind of activities the Junior Achievement program sponsors.

Comprised of volunteers, educators, parents and contributors, the Junior Achievement program touches the lives of more than 4 million students across the country each year. With special events, the Junior Achievement Expo, and the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame, participants have many ways to be involved in the program.
