SCE&G is proud to be a partner in education in the communities we serve throughout South Carolina. Through our various initiatives, educational resources and financial contributions, SCE&G strives to benefit students, teachers and our communities overall.

Homework plays an important role in children’s learning experience. To get the most out of it, they need a study environment that’s safe, free of distractions and offers access to resources and other forms of assistance. That’s why SCE&G helped to develop and provides financial support for homework centers managed by the S.C. Chamber at schools throughout our service territory.

The Homework Centers provide a safe, supervised place students can go after school to work on their assignments. Certified teachers are on site to help students with everything from improving their study habits to solving those tricky math problems.
