Many life-saving medical treatments and procedures involve blood transfusions and would not be possible without a safe and reliable blood supply. SCE&G supports the community through blood drives for the American Red Cross. The generous spirit of our employees saves lives.

Blood drives are held several times a year at the corporate headquarters and at various other facilities and plants in South Carolina. Each year, SCE&G collects more than 400 pints of blood, which are used by accident victims, surgery and anemia patients, cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and burn victims.
