Through contributions to Project Share, SCE&G employees and customers provide assistance to low-income customers for winter heating bills and, in extreme health-related cases, summer bills. Since the program began in 1986, contributions of nearly $7 million dollars have helped more than 42,000 needy customers in towns and communities served by SCE&G.

SCE&G has made a corporate gift of $250,000 to Project Share.

The Governor’s Office’s Division of Economic Opportunity, through community action agencies, administers all donations to Project Share.
