As the name implies, this option uses customer generated electricity to offset energy needs. In other words, the energy you produce will lower the amount of electricity purchased from SCE&G, thereby reducing your monthly bill.
Since the energy you generate directly powers your home or business, you will need just one meter to record energy purchased from SCE&G. Your service will continue on the rate that best suits your needs. A complete list of residential and small commercial rates are available online.
All customer generated energy flows directly into the home or business; SCE&G will supply energy as needed.
