In today’s technology-driven world, it’s hard to imagine life without electricity. It not only keeps the lights on, but also powers our computers, home theaters, power tools, appliances and much more. It’s what keeps our schools and hospitals running, manufacturing plants operating and companies in business.
For all the work electricity does, it’s still an amazingly good value. For example, two full days of electricity for the average home – that’s 48 hours – costs about the same as a meal at a fast food restaurant. Compared to other things in your life, electricity seems pretty reasonable.
