Cayce, S.C. (April 8, 2016) – During April and May, SCE&G will host a series of workshops in Summerville about online tools and options designed to make it easy and convenient for customers to do business with the company.
SCE&G customer service representatives will be at the Summerville business office April 11, 12, 28 and 29 to talk with customers about the following topics:
- Online and mobile payment channels
- Budget billing
- Paperless billing
- Authorized payment locations
- Outage notification via text
- Energy savings tips
- Analyzing energy usage online
No appointment is necessary, and customers may come by the Summerville business office at 108 N Cedar St. any time from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 to 4:30 p.m.
“As technology has advanced, we’ve developed tools to make it faster and easier for customers to do business and communicate with us,” said Sam Dozier, vice president of customer service for SCE&G. “We know these tools are helping many customers already, and the Let’s Talk workshops are an opportunity for customers to learn more about the variety of choices they have when it comes to their energy service.”
Additional workshops will be held at the same location and times May 9, 10, 26 and 27.
