Dominion Energy has complied fully with all obligations regarding the ratepayer class action settlement. Pursuant to the court’s order in June, the court-appointed Claims Administrator is responsible for management of the settlement and distribution of the settlement to individual customers. Dominion Energy is coordinating with the Claims Administrator to determine the process and timing for allocation of the settlement to customers who opted to receive their portion of the settlement through a bill credit. Once we receive the necessary information from the Claims Administrator, we will start to apply those credits to the following billing cycle.
Dominion Energy is working with the Special Master and Claims Administrator on the liquidation of real estate that is part of the settlement. Customers who participated in the class action settlement will receive additional cash or bill credits after the real estate sells.
